Continental (called Deb) was the only one available at the small lGA. But instead of plain mash, I decided to try an idea I had seen on Facebook mixing the dehydrated potato with bacon and spring onions in muffin pans. I also quartered Brussels sprouts (Erich's favourite vegetable), boiled in salted water till 3/4 cooked, drained then fried with chopped bacon. Pork cutlets always grilled with a 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard smeared on each side.

Instead of dinner by candlelight, Erich called it dinner by Gnomelight! Gnomad providing the light source.
