"tanks" here---
Ash & Wendy:
Many, many thanks for the vision of the 40 Mile Beach Camping Area.
It gives me something to look forward to in about 4 weeks time when I venture up to where you are now parked/camped, before meeting up with the "mob" at Cleaverville.
Some of the tracks look a bit sandy. How do you think the Sprinter will handle the road in and the tracks around the area. As you got the BigBus in there I guess the Sprinter can make it ok.
Do you get TV reception there without a satelite dish thing. I noticed a signal tower in your video, but is this just for telephone.
Has Ash got the "CRABS" yet. Have you noticed any oysters on the rocks.
See you soon.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Keith, from memory of our last trip in there, there is a TV signal. The neighbours will haul you out if you get stuck, at least they did for us
Mind you our rig was a LOT smaller then!

Ash said that you'd be right if it's not front wheel drive, the road in is excellent and wide at the moment, having just been graded. The tracks around the camp spots vary a lot, and as DAPOPE said there's always someone will pull you out. We can drive you around to 'suss' out the spots before you decide if you like, and if we are still here, we are planning to but who knows what 'they' might do during the 3 days only period up to May, peak period.
Yep heaps of oysters. And yep, had a feed of Blue Swimmer's the other night, yummmmmmm. We ended up putting up the satellite dish because the TV reception was iffy at times.
Check out the sunset tonight

Just to whet your appetite

Cheers
Ash & Wendy
