Customizing your solar array.

Post by shonky »

Hi, all.

Should you wish to enhance the use of your folding solar panel during those cooler months when the Sun is less than cooperative just ensure your rig is pointing due South then suspend said panel from the back window, using supports to ensure it’s angled 30 degrees upward, which you will find is the optimal angle for most suburban roof installations. If you do not have a loose panel - or a hinged back window - you can (1) go and buy one, or (2) ensure the fixed panels are angled in the same azimuth bearing as mentioned earlier. This will require the acquisition of a pair of large chocks and, as some excavation may be called for, a good shovel. Do not back up to a cliff edge to avoid the excavation problem, unless you’re desirous of winning a place in the annals of Darwinism.
See you on the back roads,
