I am suttung at home on the stope with a bourbon and enkoying life after having passed the trailer inspection to license the trailer with WA Plates. IT IS NOW WA- 4340, instead of a Queensland number plate and this makes it legal.
The trailer has a new steel floor and many inovative extras; like LED LIGHTS inside the cargo area, LED Stop/Tail/Turn lights, A larger security cage, rear end jacks to stop it tipping up when not coupled to the Sprinter.
I have also put adjustable chains onto the tail-gate so as I can pull the 4kva generator out and run it from the tail gate to eliminate the heavy lifting in and out. I welded a 4" vice onto the draw bar. I don't know when I will ever use it, but it is now there if I do need it. (much better use than sitting on the garage floor waiting for me to kick my toes on it.
Gee---I'm glad that I can weld and paint ! Now I just have to scrub the excess pain off my body.
I painted it all over with Fire-Engine Red to make it go faster.
The next task is to put Red/White reflective tape all over it [ as has the Sprinter] and cover it with Regimental Stickers.
Apart from all of that and using pop-rivets to attach the WA Plates; I've had a quiet day.
And now it is time for feeding,
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Sounds great. Does that mean the trailer now goes faster than the sprinter?
Also stuck at home. Inside renovations progressing, should have the bathroom back by the end of the week, then its just laundry and kitchen to go
