WA getting the hint - Yay WA!!

Post by weezanickinoff »

This is an excellent start to a state (in part) that is in bad need of awakening to Freedom of choice Campers.......good one WA. Hopefully everyone can then come and see the magnificence of this awesome state.

Dot where they're doing the Logue Brook Dam they're already shitting in their own nest.
It' mainly an unregular place opposite the main CP on the other side of the dam.
The "open side" hosts the wild bikies etc that want to ''do their own thing'' , usually they have a bit of corrections done by the local constabulary.

Mainly its been a dirty place full of little white flags to indicate a "used place"
When it gets a cleanup it will certainly come under the wrap of the local ranger and be kept a LOT tidier.

There's a few places near by that have had a bit of attention lately ,( Hoffman Mill , Lane Pool, - 2 areas, and so on) it's opened it up for more people to use admittedly but overall it's kept it clean !

WA is slowly recognizing that the average vanner doesn't really need all the facilities and the DEC ( Parks) has done a lot to encourage more of the less expensive camping , unlike big 4 etc.

Sure hope people do "respect" the opened up areas. Since we were in WA things certainly have changed re the rest area spots.(lots of the places we stopped have been closed down) I suspect due to the "white rose" trail. :D

A great initiative, unfortunately, being a national park automatically rules out those that chose to travel with pets.
