lit the fuse today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Yay for you!
I give 3 months notice on the 1st of July - seems a lifetime away but oh so little time to get the bus finished!

Cheers,
Neil

Congratulations.
You are now free and the fun begins.
Throw away the watch and learn to let your body clock control your day and may there be many for you both to enjoy.
Now the day trips can be short and the stops long.

Fancy not staying at work so the boss remains happy, what a terrible thing to do to him/her  So now you have to build up your strength for all the things you'll find need doing, well things that will be found for you to do anyway. The strength part is in the learning to use the word NO, with strength and meaning, and YES to things you want to do 8-)
will you be able to combine the casual work into a travel plan, a sort of working sometimes holiday track? Then you can claim the motorhome and travelling expenses as a tax deduction :D

Hi Terry, yes that is part of the plan, the better half has already negotiated fuel subsidys with some of her work. Plenty of casual stuff for both of us, but i doubt we will get out of WA much in the next 18 months, too many things to see and do! Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts and wishes :D

Believe it or not my boss wan't happy when I handed in my papers on his return from an 8weeks holiday in europe.

Hey shit happens.

The funniest bit was one of the things I got in trouble for was reporting on activities three level above him, something he's has now been asked to do himself now.

I know I'm a real Bastard.

I don't care either.

Ya had to say that didn't you.

I was hoping to be asked to leave (package) but the bastards wouldn't give me one, I guessed to retire before I killed someone was a better option.

Now their handing out packages like xmas candy.
