Never heard of adding a jumper when you get cold. Next minute you will want socks and slippers or ugg boots. Toughen up. Shorts, Tshirts and bare feet for Aussies, jumper in the winter if needed.
When at Kilmore for Blazeaid in 2009 there were many who bought a small gas heater for in their vans. Could never understand how we didn't have to bury some LOL.
The only gas I have in my bus is a small gas stove that I use when I need a second hot plate as my induction stove has only one element.
