Better this morning, although it did wake me up at 3am when I rolled over and lay on it

but the pills are good

Even though the initial procedure was more painful, the tennis ball under the skin sized lump of the last one isn't there this time and none of the shoulder joint pain either, so it's a much better procedure as far as that goes.
It was sort of explained, while I was laying under the protective sheet and the specialist was explaining the new procedure to the radiologist

the old method burnt a grain of rice sized area at a much higher temp, this one opens a pocket around the area and burned a corn nibble sized/shaped area so a far better chance the required nerve and a longer section of the nerve is burnt away at a lower temp. Also, rather than coming in from the side and trying to hit the nerve, then in from the other side for a second shot, this procedure comes in from the same angle as the blocker injection, straight on to the nerve, so they can see much clearer exactly what is happening while it's happening. The result is a much shorter time burning, less holes and all-round less tissue damage in the surrounding area. Seemed hard to believe yesterday I can tell you, but the results seem to be just what they'd expected, a much faster recovery from the initial procedure, now to see if the results are as good and if they last longer, fingers crossed for that, the first one is starting to loose effect already and it’s only been 6 mths
