Avida have fixed their bits - tick (well maybe except for a bit of paint underneath the step)
Suggestion 1. Join a forum where he can get help with the day to day problems we all have and we all remedy with the help of others.
Suggestion 2. Get out on the road, mix with other MH'ers who will help solve your problems.
Suggestion 3. Don't worry, be happy. Life on the road is for the adventurous.

Someone has had a motorhome for 2 yrs and now wants their money back. Flat batteries so the slideout doesn't work isn't very well the manufacturers fault, no idea how they killed a geabox in 2 yrs when they have only had 12 mths of using by their claim, it could have been a bad box to start with, sometimes there are problems as they are a mass produced item.
As far as the rusty step on a 2 yr old vehicle, is that Avida's problem, Isuzu's problem or the owners problem as a result of where it's been used and lack of maintenance. I love the bit about Winnebago Aust manufacturing under licence to Winnebago US, wonder where they got that from

Should hear the story on the jayco 5er near us, horrendous for a rig that was ONE mth off the floor... he can tell the story when he wants for the details to be right.

Hi, all.
Owned an Isuzu NPR400 for some years - quite a good vehicle, but I was warned about the next one up, the NQR450, being generally unreliable.
The workshop manager at some Isuzu branch stated categorically that one of their mechanics handled all the AMT gearboxes, simply because nobody else understood them. Seems they don't like, wait for it, hot fuel. Driving with a tank less than 30% full was asking for problems.
Also met another happy ( not) Isuzu owner who had untold grief with his catalytic converter. Every so often the motor was restricted to 1500rpm until he pulled over and the converter was allowed to cool for two hours. Two or three times a week ?? After a couple of years of visits to the workshop, and still under warranty, Isuzu said they would take the truck off his hands. Paid $120k for it, and their offer was $61k.
