The Dump Point at the Dubbo Zoo is open to the public for free during daylight hours. There ia a potable (drinking) water tap on the right, and a non-potable water tap on the left to wash down the dump point.

Good access for big rigs.
This Sat view shows the area of the Dump Point on the right as you enter the zoo. The entrance gates are now further inside the zoo, so you can drive straight into the dump point in the longer vehicle parking area.

Bruce - do the gates open totally out and fold back?BruceQ wrote: REALLY good Dump Point set up with great signs too !!
So many we have to open hatch before you get near the dump site, then hold the hatch door up while drive onto dump point and align inside the "fence", then have to do the same whilst driving off the dump point. Of course if you have a 20 foot "black" hose that's a different story!!!!!!

One of the worse ones we have just come across is at Murray Bridge - so far back that we had to decant to empty the whole 90 litres.

Re: NSW Dubbo Zoo Dump Point
I think the gates open inwards, but can't remember for sure. We have a cassette so it is not very important to us but I am posting these photos because I realise it is more important to Big Rig owners to know the layout of Dump Points.
I guess decanting or macerator pumps with longer hoses seem like good backup plans for big rigs.

Jodebtre
I have asked a friend in Dubbo to take more photos of the open gates.
I will post them as soon as possible.
Cheers

Re: NSW Dubbo Zoo Dump Point
I asked a mate in Dubbo to take some more photos.
One shows the gates open inwards, and the other shows the large turning area that may make this site suitable for bigger vehicles.
I hope this helps
Cheers
