Can't get email out of outbox

I sent an email, it went to outbox and there she stays. Has now been 2 days, constipated I think. I have tried to delete it but the machine says too late it is being sent but it is still there thus jamming every other email I want to send?? Yes it is a big email but how long does one take??

Depends what email program you're using but I have had to delete the account and recreate it a few times on some people's computers.
If it's stuck in Bigpond's system, you can sometimes log in via webmail and delete it there.

Dot, have you thought of setting up another email account which is not connected to bigpond, there are many which give you more security, bandwidth and instant sending of mail.

My computing life changed dramatically when my daughter moved us all to linux against my will, but she is just like her dad and now so glad she did. Every computer problem disappeared and now would never go near telstra or microsoft because of security, cost and state of the art.

Try mail.com, muchomail.com. Mail.com is very secure with lots of features, they don't collect your info, but not as fast as mucho mail. Computing away form the big names is so much cheaper, safer and easier to use, plus the features offered outweigh the monopolies by eons.
