Not sending from outbox

Ok why are the emails in my outbox not going anywhere? it says "Preparing to send/receive" but nothing happens.

Maybe it's full. Go into your sent items and delete a bunch of them and see what happens then.

try deleting your deleted messages they build up on some forums?

The same email is supposedly still being sent

Almost certainly you have a wrong address.
Look to see if you have a space in it or a comma rather than a fullstop.
Pick them up with your mouse & put them into your DRAFTS folder one by one.
Then one by one transfer them back & send/receive each time until you find the one with a wrong address.

Bruce they were "reply" emails but shall go and have a look hang on

Nup still the same, Preparing to send / receive so when I click on it to delete it comes up and it says it has already been started to be sent. But it has been saying that for hrs and the address is all good.
