Yeah a winner... Yes someone would have been upset if the 21st was the missing date..

Re: Safaris
Info from our new director.
RE: Safaris
OK - I now put the CMCA Directors hat on
I have managed to track down what has occurred here so here goes:
"They have been cancelled because the provider or management of the event cannot provide the necessary requirements to stage the event professionally, to our satisfaction. They will not come back to the second half of 2015." (a new operator has been appointed but will take time to get up to speed)
"Before severing ties with xxxx all options were explored"
"While I acknowledge not all participants complain, some have memorable experiences, I cannot subject to the Club or its members to an experience in which we cannot ensure their safety and wellbeing. It's too big of a risk.
They are just suspended at the moment but please be assured they will come back.
Full details of this will be in the next CMCA and Chapter newsletter, website and Facebook (tomorrow) but unfortunately as the December Wanderer has been finalised and is at the printers, it won't make the Wanderer until January .
Hope this explains what has occurred - it has only just happened.

Re: Safaris
Lorraine Smith (CMCA Director) has requested it be clarified that the quote was not from her but was from CMCA HQ but she did supply the information.
Either way it does answer a few questions I guess.
With Peter's permission I'll highlight the quoted info in his post.
