But who said they were Alaskan reindeer? The Aust version would be 1mth into summer so they would have their antlers, though only the males in Aust grow antlers but that's probably more to do with being an Aussie, only the males here seem to be the ones that get horny 
As far as females being able to travel anywhere with getting lost, isn't the voice in the GSP predominantly female? They have a nasty habit of getting completely lost and then just going to sleep rather than offering any assistance to get you back on the right track..... I guess that is why the voice is female
