"tanks" here Dot---
I highly recommend Ken Tame and his lot. I have made 2 claims recently without any problems. Just tell the repairer to send the invoice to us and pay the $100 excess direct .
It would pay you to have a look at the coverage Ken Tame allowed--towing, return to etc 600 km towing, and compare these benefits against wehat the others are covering in your policy.

I plan to have another birthday next year.

Hi Dot
We had the Terios insured with Ken Tame as we enquired about it being covered while being towed and it was at that time, would pay to check with them now.
Remember reading on the old C**A forum about someone towing their toad in gear and KT paying for it to be fixed.

Jump online and check out progressive insurance. We dropped KT and went with progressive.

Can't complain about KTA at the moment...
Had a valuation done at Murray Valley M/hs, Strathmerton at about 1300. Faxed to KTA, as our insurance expires late January.
By the time we had driven the 90-odd km home (about 1500h), the revised quote was in our email in-box!
Saves us $360pa on previous valuation -- which is 5yo, and therefore out of date by three years!
We've been paying premiums still based on that valuation, but for the past 3 yrs, had we written Girt off, we would have received Market Value rather than the valuation. :(
We were aware of this, and have been meaning to get a new valuation... but it always seemed to go to the bottom of the To Do list - until we needed work done at Strathmerton where Darryl can do valuations, as well as excellent work at reasonable prices (plug!).
Now we're back in sync for another two years... :)
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Did the online quote of progressive insurance and theirs was $273.28. Have you had any dealings with them Craig (I mean any communication with a person) I sent them an email to ask what happens if we are out of internet coverage how can we contact them so will await their reply. but what a difference $$$$ :o

Coverage with KTA is comparable with RACV's policy, so if he offers the best price, I'd go with it.
Remember, KTA is now owned by - sorry 'in partnership with' - Allianz.

give them (progressive) a go at quoting your car Ray see how they shape up against the one you have at present.
