I don't reckon you are missing to much, I'm not a fan of Aldi, they do have a few good specials but so do the other supermarkets, I certainly wouldn't drive out of my way to shop at Aldi for anything.

You can lead a horse to water,...
but if you can get him to roll over and float, then you have a raft.

Experience is a wonderful thing. It helps you recognise a mistake when repeated.

"tanks" here---ALDI is coming to WA in year 2015.
Just wait for it and get ready for the rush to go shopping.
I should be back in WA in time to pick up some of the Saturday Specials that I don't want or need.
Keith
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Sorry can't see why anyone would drive 100ks to shop at Aldi, just my opinion, I have 3 close by & seldom shop there, I prefer Aussie products, Aldi carry few & I have several Coles, Foodworks, IGA & Woolies close by that have better specials every week.

Shirley I was having a small shot at you. We have to drive a 100 Ks just to shop.
We shop at Coles and Aldi's who by the way stock more Aussie product then Coles. But not all., and it depends on the area.
If you don't believe me just read the labels when you shop, we do. We don't normally buy meat at Aldi's unless Coles don't have what we want.
We only shop each fortnight so each shop is a big one. And believe me Carol only buys the best.(and cheapest)
We half fill a trolley at Coles but fill it at Aldi's for less.
Bernie.

What's this Oldies? Oh... Aldi's??

Do they stock men's shirts in Australian sizes?
I'm sick of these short tailed shirts that come out of my strides every time I bend to pick up money........ lol

What I didn't like about Aldi was most of the labels that I read where from overseas & I think if you want to buy cheap then the other supermarkets have their home brands just as cheap or cheaper.
All bran is cheaper at Aldi a couple of dollars cheaper but what you said is true, you can never be sure of buying a product again sometimes it never appears again.
Personally I didn't like the meat that I bought at Aldi.
Each to their own & many people rave about shopping at Aldi.
