Could not see dates on OP, despite later post saying they were edited in...
Could you post the dates (& maybe more precise directions, road names, GPS co-ords, etc) here please?
We might be able to join in, as we're in the 'in principle' stage of planning a trip up Cape York, and Parkes/Forbes would be en route.
If the timing is right...
PS. SWMBO is Joy
Thinking that the month of May had 4 weekends I originally figured the 15/16/17/18 would be the 2nd w/e - it's actually the 3rd w/e.
We plan on being there 13-19th
As Bruce stated, 2nd page, first post has the list of attendees & the updated info regarding dates & I will add the above link as well.
"tanks" here---hanks for the link Chuck.
The "bird-in-the-box" should be able to get me there; Lot 7004, Gum Bend Road, CONDOBOLIN N.S.W.
So it is now WA, SA, Vic, NSW. All I have to do is drive down the street, turn Left, and drive about 4,000 km, buy diesel, WEIS BLOCKS, dog food, and smoked salmon. and keep up with the Pope Mobile and any other Forum members who join the convoy.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
you only need to get him as far as Bob and Bev's place, Bob will take over the towing duties from there

Hook the Sprinter up behind the caravan and Bob could make a road train for the trip.... gotta be even better than a safari

We may be scratchings...
Have been following up on this https://www.facebook.com/IMotorhome/pho ... nref=story
Looks like we are doing 2 28 day runs one to LA and one to Vancouver, then on to Europe for a month or two, before coming back via NZ
Will keep you posted.

I know PLENTY NZ nut cases
We were not going to do all this in 2015, but it all seemed to good to pass up
I have never driven a left hooker, so am not in a rush, Caroline will be doing her fair share of the driving, but we don't have to do more than about 100miles a day
