"tanks" here---
I'm now at the Library at BROKEN HILL charging the battery in the Laptop.
I MISS "RUSSELL" still.
Phone calls to the West tell me not to worry, BUT, he is fretting for me and this has changed my plans on where I go and how long I can stay in one place.
I am now off again heading from Broken Hill NSW to Port Augusta then on to Peterborough SA, and then the long drive across the Nullabor Plain back to WA and my mate "Russell".
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Drive safely Keith.
Russell will wait an extra day for you to arrive.
Better later than being involved in an accident.
Kind regards,
Colin

"tanks" here---
Thanks Bruce-S; I am not sure if I am coming or going.
I am at PETERBOROUGH S.A. now having just driven from BROKEN HILL N.S.W.
The good man at the quarantine check point let me keep my prepared salad pack to go with my ham sandwich.

INVITATION TO DOT & GEORGE:-
-As I am now in South Australia how about you drive up here and have a cuppa ?.
Bring some fresh Scones with jam and cream, and a fruit pavlova with you as I gulped down my remaining bananas and rock melon before the check point.
Keith.

Sorry Keith never go to the "Peterborough Pony Club" as it is known Did a stint of getting Walers off the trucks before they were dog food there and I hated the place so you will have to wait for scones etc sorry matey :) Slow down just a bit and have plenty of rest stops. The van needs them :)
P.S. If you don't know if you are coming or going there is one way to know and it is colour coded just for you men:)

Hi Tanks,
If you & Russell are fretting for each other, I thoroughly understand you choosing the 'straight line' route through BH & Pt Aug. I'd do the same.
Next time you're on the East Coast, we'd be pleased to host you & Russell for a day or three.
Slow down & beware of fatigue - particularly across the Nullarbor! (Where I gather you won't be stopping for sight-seeing.)
We'd like you around for a long time yet.
Doesn't your Sprinter have a built-in inverter to charge your phone? If not, you may be able to obtain permission from a roadhouse to charge there for an hour or so while you grab a meal/supplies (even if you don't really need to buy a meal, it would give you a bargaining chip, and you could take an hour-plus to eat while the phone charges :P ). 'You scratch my back...' Ask before buying, in case they say No! ;)
Regards & God bless,
Ray
