Or you could pay under $50 for an Amp-hour meter from eBay. Several seem quite good; far better than the kit one I assembled a few years ago ... See http://www.ebay.com/bhp/amp-hour-meter

Unfortunately Peter, those meters don't seem to have an alarm output that can be triggered by remaining Ah or SOC so they couldn't shut part of a system down if the battery capacity was low, so not a lot of use as a battery protection device.

While we have been helping the inlaws find a new van, went to one manufacturer and asked what an enerdrive 400ah lithium system would cost installed....you sitting down.....just a tick over $9000 :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

We said no thanks :lol:

Received a newsletter today on Enerdrive's new 200Ah system. Not sure of price just yet.
It's all packed into a neat little slimline box.
I note that Kedron are installing them and I know BT have a relationship with them, just not sure if they are selling the whole package but i'm going to bet they are - will find out for sure in April when my mate picks his up.
