Ross River Fever

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ross River Fever

Post by Macca »

In 2007 I suffered with continual aches & pains as well as headaches which would not go away. Put it down to my usual headaches plus extras! Had my annual blood tests etc & guess what was the only problem? Ross River Fever which I had been putting up for about 6 mths. It is a bugger of a thing & came back infrequently over about 2 years.

Bugger!

Reckon this thread could get a few of our members come on board with their experiences of it.

Pretty sure I've mentioned that I was hit with Dengue Fever whilst in SE Asia (military) in the mid 60's...KO'd me something awful at the time. Have since been told by my GP not to hang around outside in the tropics without the necessary long sleeves/pants & plenty of spray/wipe on anti stuff, as a bout of RRF or another DF may be fatal !!

Ah yes, life's a challenge. :D
