Been having problems with the bloke down at Ballarat over my Diesel heater, I have this posted on another forum.

I have just returned (yesterday) my planer diesel heater to Ballarat.
Installed last Friday gave test run in arvo for around 10 minutes work good turned it off. Turned it on Saturday to show interested neighbour and it wouldn't start up. So had to wait till Monday morning to ring bloke in Ballarat who said it would be my battery not charged enough, no amount of arguing would change his mind. He said to prove it get another battery and he reckoned it would work...guess what no it wouldn't work. So that theory went out the door and would I send it back to him and he would send another once the tracking of my one was in transit. All done I have sent two emails so far asking for the tracking order for my to be new one so far no response to my emails......As yet I haven't given feed back on ebay for my heater...Might not be flattering?
For those that want to know I had 10 flashing lights which the book says is a over heat problem, but as was not on long enough cant be that.

More to my post on diesel heater.
I rang the "gentleman" in Ballarat today asking about my diesel heater..He has a short memory he told me that once the tracking on my returned to him was in transit he would send me a new heater. No info on tracking over the last two days so I rang the 'bloke'. After some 'heated 'words he said that he had sent my new heater on Monday and would send me the tracking number....I thanked him and hung up that was around 8.30am Qld It now 7.40Pm Qld time and still no email from him re tracking number.
So what do I do ??? start a dispute with ebay over this crap or???

make sure you raise the dispute in the time frame. Did. You pay with PayPal? Raise a dispute with them if you did

Most definitely, you have given him plenty of opportunity, forget the replacement, now, ask for a full refund and buy else where.

I have bought a number of things from this outfit, including S/S BBQ which was great. I bought a spare inverter for about $500 but left it in its box and didn't test it for a couple of months and when I did it failed. Despite promises from this bloke it never did get replaced or did I get any money back. Unfortunately I was outside the dispute time frame. I will never buy anything from this outfit again
