Travel Plans For This Year

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Thanks Lesley, camp spot looks good will try that location next time we visit Bingara, we have stayed on the other side of the river, we have stayed at the Bingara C.P.too it was good.
I drove the Coaster up to the lookout sign did say no caravans, it was real steep coming down in the Coaster was scary, great view but I would never do that again.

That is really a beautiful spot Leslie. as it turns out, the driver had me in Bingara very early. so we decided to keep going, to make the rest of the trip easier, in coming days. We made it down to Manilla. Another very small country town. The caravan park is lovely, with a manager/owner who really cares about her park. The ladies bathroom even has fragrances etc in it, so it seems like we did a good thing. Sadly the loverly smells in the bathroom will prevent me from being able to use the amenity block, due to allergies, but the owner doesn't know that.
Thanks goodness we have an ensuite in the van. It's very "compact" but in such emergencies it does the job!

Safe travels every one.

Next week the house-sitters arrive, and we're off to Qld. :)
Would like to reach Meandarra for Anzac Day services.
Town population is about 350. There's a call out to m/h-ers to try to double the population for the day.
There is an amazing War Memorial/Museum in town.
As one of the locals said to us during our last visit, "We have a million-dollar museum in a fifty-cent town!". :P
After that, the vague plan is to veg out in Theodore for a coupla weeks.
Have to return to Albury for medical appt, then maybe off to the SA outback for a week or three.
Regards & God bless,
Ray
