Can you freeze a slice with icing on it? :? OK OK now you have stopped laughing what is the correct answer. I never said I was a cook did I?

Come to think of it; I am not sure how you plan to freeze the slice without freezing the icing. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't think so Dot. I think the icing would go watery when thawed. Sorry no smart answers forthcoming!!

Those Pecan Nut things that you buy in the supermarket have icing on them & are frozen also Sara Lea cakes some have icing, maybe it's the type of icing??

Hi Dot. I freeze my lemon slice all the time with the icing on but as Lesley said it can go a little watery at times but still OK

Thanks everyone (apart from SteveW of course) I shall do the icing and stiff titty if the stuff does a runner when thawed out.
