How do I charge a small battery off a large battery.

Discussion about any electrical topic except 240 volts. Solar, converters, inverters, lights, battery chargers, etc

Well that changes the requirements quite a bit, I thought you needed a fast recharge for something like a prawning light or night lights that had to be recharged by the next night ready for use.
For a trickle charge application, Jon D's suggestion will do the job
