Hi,
I too was at Pilliga Bore, two nights ago, pity we did not know each other.
The water was great, the council was cleaning the area as it had rained on Friday so they could not do it then.

We too had a great time at Gum Bend, we met new faces and made new friends which is what it all about, the men were kept occupied checking out each others rigs(Motorhomes, Caravans, Dot) and fixing and installing rear view cameras, solar panel wiring, gas bottle fittings, batteries of all descriptions, general internet thingys, fire watching, flatulence judging, improving air flow to Chucks fire pit and sundry activities, the moon was honoured by disciples and happy hours enjoyed by all, some of the ladies were taken by the current activities of Maya on the Bold and the Beautiful, and a group walked around the lake each day some twice(3.19 ks) all in all it was great to spend time with these special people who enjoy life and the outdoors, we are currently in a Rest Area about 40 ks from Grafton, its by the road not to noisy and of course its the right price, last night we were by the river near Bingara very quite and cold, prior to that we spent 4 days at the Pilliga Bore baths soaking in the 37deg bore water, the worst part was getting out then you were reminded about winter, no internet or phone and while there we meet a couple from Mildura who were there when we last visited three years ago, all very friendly in the pool as most are Grey Nomads and all topics are covered, so bt the time we get back to Fishing Point we will have had three weeks on the road and we are looking forward to getting away again in September, we will be watching for the location of the next get together so we can join in again.
Stay Safe

That has to be the longest sentence I've read in a long, long time.

Back to reality and home. Called in to see the "newly weds" for lunch home by 3pm, so far 3 loads of washing done, picked up the mail plus the tail lights for the SGV connection to the mothership. Brian had a great time running around the garden and Miss Meow has settled right back onto the bed. Tried to convince the G man to continue driving but he said he had too much to do to get ready for our next trip away ?mid July so I said ok to the home run. Had a great time and really look forward to the next gathering somewhere again

Lol Chuck, you need to take a deep breath and read it from top to bottom in one go, it is the longest thing I have written in a number of years and as you have pointed out a couple of full stops followed by capitals would have helped.(good to hear that you got your water issues fixed)
Cheers
