I am not sure Shirley, but the application form has drop down boxes for "Address" and "Select State Rego" with every state in Australia available.

Maybe send them an email to confirm.

We have a NSW RTA tag and do not get a monthly charge.

It seems NSW have 2 different types of E Tag - you either pay a $40 security deposit or a $1.25 monthly fee

E-Toll Tag
No registration fee
No account fees
$40 refundable security deposit per tag
$40 minimum opening balance

Easy Toll Tag

$1.50 online registration fee
$1.25 / month account fee
No security deposit for tag
$10/$30 minimum opening balance

Shirley.
You do NOT need Qld rego or address for a GoVia tag.
They were happy to give me one with Tassy rego and address.
I paid $40 upfront and the account automatically tops up with another $25 from the credit card when the balance gets below $15.00
They sent a truck tag for the Iveco but so far Qld and NSW have realized that I am a private vehicle towing a 5th W caravan.

When towing a toad would the toad incur an additional charge even when its being towed. Trailers don't as far as I know.

When towing with our previous Winnie & toad we never had to pay for the toad in tow.

Our toad rego was included on the e-tag account.

EDIT: We only used the one tag for both vehicles... just swapped between as required.
