Yeah... had 'em on the Winnie - removed when sold - but not, so far, on the Manhattan... Navigator's not too keen on 'stickers' on the new toy.

Re: New Logo
I wondered why Mr Val was so pushy about putting the steering wheel logo on every post, it's the logo for that forum
so having those stickers plasted on your vehicle is promoting that forum really because it's promoting the trade mark and clearly says you are a forum member. Clever marketing, very clever, my steering wheel sticker will remain in the glove box.

Does the ''T'' in T1 stand for ADMIN: word deleted, TerryT1 Terry wrote:I wondered why Mr Val was so pushy about putting the steering wheel logo on every post, it's the logo for that forumso having those stickers plasted on your vehicle is promoting that forum really because it's promoting the trade mark and clearly says you are a forum member. Mr Val put his hand up to distribute the ''Forum'' sticker, and the appearance of the sticker on his posts was a way of promoting the sticker.............. I might add he has done a great job and has posted out over 300 stickers.
The stickers are free to anyone that wants to be recognised as a CMCA member that uses these replacement forums. The stickers are free, thanks to the double donation by a CMCA forum member. Also the wearing of the sticker is voluntary.
Why on worth would you apply for a free sticker and put it in your glove box?

The sticker for the OZeRVnews forum is a great idea, may need some tweaking, but it would be recognised around the country far and wide, exactly the same as the "Forum" sticker.

Re: New Logo
Not sure why anyone belonging to this forum and not the other wanting to display THEIR sticker.
I made my own sticker for the old CMCA and when it folded I painted "PISSED OFF" across the top.
I can so I did.
CMCA also stands for a lot of other clubs etc so how do they know I meant them.
I think I might follow Terry's idea and paint one on the back of my trailer as I don't think we have issue with copyright here.
Got the brushes out and have been wearing them in (or is that out) so not much trouble to do.
I have removed all reference to CMCA. Even took the number plate surrounds off and replaced with VGR Maldon ones
Regards
Brian

Good luck to them, they pulled it off and got away with it. Why do I have the stickers and put them in the govebox, they were handed to me by Jon D's two boys, they would not have understood if I refussed to take them and I could see no good reason to start any ill will while I was there.
I am no longer a member of the CMCA, that was my choice, after 14 yrs of continued membership i felt it had lost it's way so i no longer support it, I am not a member of the other forum so I see no reason to support it either, that's my choice, the stickers are in the glovebox and there they will remain.

Re: New Logo
Do any of us want " ill will " we are all out there to enjoy our travels & hopefully meet up on the road & have a good time, no matter what forum we have chosen to join, as I said, many have joined both & probably most still are members of the CMCA, I still see no need for another forum sticker.

Re: New Logo
Shirley a lot of members here aren't members of the CMCA so do you think it's OK if they ask Mr Val for some free stickers?
A lot are caravanners too......... Doesn't that sticker indicate that you are a MOTORHOMER?
