Dot, we have an Alden and it has been perfect. Finds the sat quickly and very easy to operate. Just turn it on and up it goes. One button and it's back down :D

Hi D & G Got to agree with dapope, once you get the hang of it, set up time gets quicker, when we did our trip around the block recently we had excellent reception each and every time we set it up, and as you know Glennis had to have her daily dose of the Bold and the Butfull, we have a great set up from ACESS in Perth, cost for the best of everything around $780.00.

Cheers Chris

I have both portable and auto dish. If you have the roof real estate and can afford it go the auto dish. So easy :D :D

We had an Alden on our Optimum, worked fine until we got to Mackay, dish couldn't lean back enough to lock onto the SAT. SteveW had a similar problem with his at Five Ways!. Service agents said there was a fix, 1 1/2 hours in Sydney of Melbourne. Apart from that it was a matter of avoiding trees.
