"tanks" here---
I have given up on Consumer Protectionas this matter has been on their books since August with very little result.
When I phone their office I am told that these negotiations take time and it appears that I am being vendictive.
I am now going the Solicitor/Expert Witness route. After my meeting with them on Thursday things are moving along at a very fast pace.
I now wait for the expert blokes report, which I expect sometime later this week.
He is also going to negotiate with Skippers Trucks and United Fuel Injection towards getting satisfaction for me and get the motor-home back on the road as soon as possible with a new motor and all that goes with it, plus recover any financial outlay that I have made since the 1st failure.
If he fails to obtain settlement then we go to the Court.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good luck Keith, I hope that your legal team don 't allow the proceedings to be ' continually deferred ' for any lengthy period.
As a parent of a solicitor in the UK I understand that this is sometimes/often used to wear down the determination of the the person bringing the legal action.
Keep being determined Keith and as I said previously ' Don't let the B's grind you down'.
Hope you get a speedy acceptable solution.
Kind regards Colin

Yeah, Tanks,
Remember, 'Nil Illegitemi Carborundum...'
(Don't let the bastards wear you down.) ;)

BTW,
I know you're a long, LONG way from Esperance, but how's the fire danger around you?
Poor bastards in Esperance/Cape Le Grande NP area are copping it rough. :?
I hope you're in a better position.

GOOD LUCK... both in the courts and in your local area.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Er, Dottie,
I think you mean 'bollocking' (as in: bollocks, removal of...) :D

"tanks" here--
30th Nov---I just had a phone call from the Managing Director of United Fuel Injection offering to pay my return air fare to Maryborough Qld so that I can spend Xmas with my Sister asa it is not likely that the Iveco will be mobile before Xmas.
This offer was a good-will offer, not reliant on the outcome of the Iveco engine/injector matter which is ongoing.

I declined with thanks as I have to consider "Russell" as he goes into "fret mode" when he is away from me for any more than 3 seconds. "Russell" and I live in the motor-home when I visit my Sister.
Keith.
