Tanks couldn't your sister come to you if they are paying?? (still sounds like a bribe to me) but I am sus of anyone that stuffs me up :) Lets hope things go smoother for you next year Tanks xx

Maybe have a chat to your vet. A little tablet for Russell and a nice flight in the hold might be ok?

The RSPCA man on the radio talks about it all the time.

I remember my first time I sent my Doberman bitch to Oz for mating, I got one of those "nice tablets" for her and the lady who was picking her up from the airport couldn't until the drug wore off. The lady is a breeder & judge of Doberman's (in NSW) and she told me that "dogs are not stupid, they do perfectly well travelling if they feel secure in their container and a jumper of their owner in with them" never used any drugs to transport an animal since then. (That's all the rspca mob do = talk.)
