Hard to believe but....

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie, mate.

I remember a warm muddy beer in London a few years ago. That was bad.

I have less than pleasant memories of West End with a dash of lime at the Cockburn hotel on the return trip from a Worlds End motorcycle rally up past Quorn.... but Coopers red label is quite a drinkable drop if you pour it into a cold glass, has a rather severe internal flushing effect if you stir the sediment up in the bottom of the stubby though, but it does stop a nagging cough

Good one Bernie; Mines older, '72 vs mid 80's so using the similar logic, I reckon mine has travelled more???

I was actually going to drive it over on an unregistered vehicle permit but time was the enemy. Now I discovered the brakes don't seem to work so the truck plan may have been a blessing in disguise  The drive on and off the truck might be interesting if I can't get the problem sorted by the 19th

Mine was a passenger bus, did the run from Kiama to Austinmer and back, 120km round trip all day and night, 7 days a week for 18yrs until it developed a hole through the liner and filled the sump with water, then it retired. The diff crown wheel and pinion was knife edged and the planetary gears had eaten that far into the cast iron hemisphere they had double thrust washers to take up the gap so the gears still meshed. A true testament to how well the pommies built buses back then, they weren't fast but they went for ever
