Today's weather.
18.7 here on Lake Macquarie, no activity on the lake everyone has gone home, raining overcast & cool, no good for the holiday folk, the sun has tried to shine a few times.

Hmm, that's a tough comment. Perhaps they need other things apart from clothing? Will look into that.Dot wrote:35.5 in down town Strathalbyn. Have been working like a telly tubby throwing tons of excess clothing out from the op shop. Seems fire victims etc don't need any!!!!!

Re: Today's weather.
hit 45 on our drive as far as Carnarvon today. Air con went on strike in the heat. (rooftop) When we tried driving 2 via the generator, it shut down through overheating in protest. Poor ol swaggie kept trying to overheat if we drove much over 85k. Parked up enjoying 2 working air cons again.

Mongrel of a country, fires down south and heat waves then floods up in the territory. BUT would you want to live anywhere else. Not bloody likely.....

Re: Today's weather.
Setting out to be another toastie day in upper Mannum. Already have the fan going and I'm avoiding the upstairs mezzanine level if I can, 'tis even warmer up there, yet we went looking for a blanket last night. George would be in his element upstairs here, he might even get warm enough to take the coat off
