Today's weather.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hi, all.

Maroochydore is bewdiful! Rain stopped, parked on a flat spot rather than a slope, all's good. All we want now is free ice-cream.

Yeah, they didn't mention if it was continuous did they  The clouds blew away just as night was settling and I very nearly posted that last night.... then it bucketed down 20 mins later. The front yard still has mini lakes in it, even though it's mostly sand under the grass, the water table is that high. Areas are now starting to loose road sections as there is so much water being forced up through any gaps in the bitumen the road base is being eroded away, just too much rain for way too long and there is just now where for the water to soak into. The golf course built on sand behind the sand hills at Windang/Primbee is a lake all on its own now, the ducks have even moved in and we are expecting some smarty to put his boat in there soon, a reversal of the big dry spell when they set up a golf course on the lake's exposed sand bars  It is still drizzling rain here this morning :(

Sun shining at the moment 18.7c, bowls has been cancelled guess the greens are to wet, many grey clouds hanging around we are suppose to reach 23c today. The lake is holding at the same level, seas are just to big to allow run out.

We had sun... and a bit of rain, but enough sun to actually get something done. Can't really see what it was but I know I spent all day doing it

The sunshine at 9 didn't last very long. Have had showers on and off all day long. The rain gauge said we have had 5 and 1/2 inches over the last 24 hours and I don't doubt it. The good news is, it is silent here at the moment. A very unfamiliar sound, but the rain has gone somewhere else for a while. How nice!
Stay dry if on this part of the continent and stay away from the fires if you are over there...ie: stay safe everyone.
