Look out USA where on the way!

First up tomorrow morning ( Sunday ) we head off to the USA's west coast. We have work comitments in LA and Las Vegas but have some free time as well. We head straight on to San Francisco after landing at LA to play tourist for a week before the work bit begins.
I have a strange feeling some of the big RV stores will be getting a visit or two.

Reminds me of a time back in 2001 I think it was...

Navigator, being a lady of English extraction, was quite missing the white Christmas that one often sees whilst one is in the UK. Therefore herself decided that one ought to return to the country of one's birth - & raising - and whilst dong so perhaps visit one's eldest sister, naturally also a lady of fine English stock. As an afterthought, perhaps, her Navigationnes enquired as to whether I could manage to remove oneself from one's position as CEO of the business I was in & accompany herself on this rather glorious overseas visit.

My response went something like this:

Sorry love, my position as a Senior Communications Officer & the roster I'm required to adhere to within the VKG Radio Room of the the NSW Police Force does not permit me to travel overseas to partake in white Christmases. Even if it did, I doubt there would be an overnight bag big enough to carry my newly acquired BMW R1150RT on board the plane with me... & if it ain't going neither am I. Do enjoy your flight.

She did.
