Today I hit 5000k with new LFP batteries and Split system aircon. I expect them to last forever...so far .. so good.

I've never heard their life expressed in kms before, but it has just as much relevance as calendar mths so why notJon and Kay wrote:Today I hit 5000k with new LFP batteries and Split system aircon. I expect them to last forever...so far .. so good.

A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

Now you are being silly Bernie, they go all mushy when you put them in the sink and they are a right bugga to dry cause they just flop over the cup when you lean them there waiting for the next time you need them. They end up looking like Taco shells, hopeless for a baked dinner (bake beans on toast)BernieQ wrote:Paper plates mate . What is Dave coming down to help you clean up ???

I think you need to do it tough for a while and live on your own Bernie so you can sharpen your survival skills..... like remembering her birthday and little stuff like that

We seem to have drifted off topic here some where

Gman made and fitted a new fly screen for Steve & Lorraine's bus window. A few more to go though. There you are, back OT?

Every day for 5 months Terry. I was actually referring to the Split System Aircon 5000k...the installer gave it a week before it would vibrate to death. The change to LFP has been another great success. They do everything the AGMs used to do, but charge much, much faster.T1 Terry wrote:I've never heard their life expressed in kms before, but it has just as much relevance as calendar mths so why notJon and Kay wrote:Today I hit 5000k with new LFP batteries and Split system aircon. I have an LG split inverter in Wilbor (the off-road one) that has been in for well over 5 years and probably more than 50,000klm, and a lot of those k's on not so good roads. Still working like a Swiss watch. A lot better than the roof mounted IBIS in the new Wilbor-Too, that's for sure

Yep, they are great. I would recommend the disposal of all those old roof top airconditioners. I think maybe most RVers are bluffed by the possibility they won't stand the conditions in an RV. THEY SURE DO.

While waiting for the return of the injectors I decided to check the tappet clearance. Spec calls for 12-16 thou, current gap on most, 25 thou. I have a little adjusting to do.
