ME! ME! There is a great debate between Rutherglen and Glenrowan as to who makes the better Durif, I still think the very best comes from Warrabilla Winery 30 something km out of Rutherglen, but I'm open to a round table tasting competition to sort out the winnerTom (tomcarm) swears by the Glenrowan offering so we will have to arrange a get together of the wine tasters
Count me in, T1.
SWMBO today bought me a couple more bottles of Durif (local ones) for quaffing. We've already laid half-a-dozen down for keepies.
I'd be willing to sacrifice myself in the interests of deciding the Rutherglen/Glenrowan question.
O'course the first plantings of Durif were around this area. So we may have the advantage of more experience with the grape.
