Skittles

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Skittles

Post by Macca »

I am getting a set of these made to bring with us. You would think that throwing a stick at a group of skittles would be easy but!!!!

The photo with Bruce's back was a fluke shot showing the stick in flight after he had hit one of the skittles over right in the middle. The game is started with them all in a group then they gradually get further apart with each throw. Hit one over & the score for that throw is the number on the top of the skittle.
Hit more than one at a time & the score for that turn will be how many were hit over.
50 it the goal
If you go over 50 you have to go back to 30. Once you get into the 40s you have to aim for certain numbers to reach the 50 without going over.
3 consecutive misses & you are out.
We have had so many laughs playing this at happy hour.

THis is a pain having to re-resize photos before small enough
.

Game is known as Finska or Klop.

If you bust (get over 50) you should go back to 25.

Yes, we've (NOT Erich mind you!) been playing this too. Finska brand name from National Geographic but the same as Klopp, I believe. And our rules are as Neil says: break 50 and go back to 25. Good for some laughs.

If there are a number playing, in order that you don't waste a whole day, breaking 50 puts you out of the game.

It is also known as Molkky https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6lkky Brian had it out at Muckingup but we couldn't get anyone interested so he gave up and put it away. Funny how things come in and out a style and the different cycles in different areas.
