No Terry didn't have a slow build up of air I sorta had no build up . seems to have fixed its self the air build up that is starts to build normal . There are 4 Isuzu/ Hino's in our block here Terry all have the same air release valves as mine . All vintage in the 90's .

The auto drain was popular when you were allowed to have them, certainly made life easier for the service people, but it must have been one of those retrospective things, only new vehicles were not allowed to have them any more. Now they have a primary collector tank with a very small capacity that dumps when a certain pressure is reached, then reseals so the compressor runs full time, big air volumes for the air bag suspension but no idea where the water and oil muck goes as it doesn't seem to dump on the ground. Been out of the truck game for quite a while now so haven't kept up with the changes.
