Hi, all.

T.I.Terry - Didn't order the wrong bit, just bought the nearest. The display is adequate, in that once it shows 3/8ths I know we have 130ltrs plus 100ltrs in the reserve tank. And yes, we put in a good spring set.

Hi, all.

Jut checked the charge in the disconnected AGMs. Two weeks ago it was 12.96v, it's now dropped to 12.83v. And they're for sale, currently in Boonah, where it rained today.

Nothing wrong with them is there Shonky?
I think AGM's will drop a bit over time.
How old are they & what price?
What size & how many?
They might not drop much more over the next 2 months.

Hi, all.

BruceS - the price depends on the buyer's interest. So does the age. Seriously they're 2xGiant 125amp and about18mths old. My understanding is they drop about one and a half percent per month so .13v loss is about on the button.
BTW when installing them I had to go to a leckie for the cables. Asked for 2 250mm cables and the (deaf?) young bloke asked me how long did I want them. Nearly said till Xmas.

Cleaned and checked everything, food in, clothes in, all the bits and bobs in. Now I just need to top off the fuel tank and check the tyre pressures. Then Bandit and myself will be heading south to Taggerty. I plan to leave sometime Wednesday morning.
I would have left earlier but someone has to pay the taxes to keep all our pensioners happy.
Cheers

Hi, all.

Big, big day. Just set the PL40 to read 100% SOC when the two AGM's were fully charged. Tricky stuff.
