Storm decided I didn't need all my mooring ropes so I got up & renewed a rope or two.
Lucky I already had no hair or it'd be gone now.....
Strange seeing 4ft waves in a little marina.
All good now.

Bumped into a old friend yesterday at Childers Airfield , a lot changed since I was last there . Runway now crusher dust not dirt as was then , lots of new hangers and met some friend that I've only known thu a aviation forum I belong to .
My old friend I started my flight training in this old bird Cessna 172 .

Looks like a nice plane Bernie! Did he take you up for a circuit or was he also 'grounded' like you?

No was no joy flights Bruce , 19 aircraft turned up it was just a flyin brekkie .
I flew it before the paint job it has now and flew it to the painters for the paint on it now twas a few years back now .
It also had a sister 172 WLU call sign , also was apart of my early flying . Along with a 150 call sign BUH . Both WLU and BUH were sold on .

Bingara Bernie, lovely weather this week, although possible shower Today. Lady has been enjoying time in the water chasing the water fowl (unsuccessfully)
