G'day Bob
Glad you found the extract from the Danfoss instructions useful. I replaced the thermostat in a previous BD35F fridge. Seemed to help, but the fridge still had a mind of its own, performing perfectly for weeks and then occasionally refusing to cool fully. Never did get to the bottom of it.

Hello Kev and Peter, I reckon the fan had not been working for a long time as half of the blades (semi-circle) were covered in dust. I didn't know about the module until doing research on the fix, I just considered the fan was for the compressor. However, there is a thumper of a heat sink in there so I have learned something. I have an inside/outside digital thermometer mounted in the fridge compartment with the 'outside' sensor wire going into the freezer so I am able to keep track of whats going on. Just have to find my glasses and bend my knees! It has only been a couple of days and things look ok so keeping the fingers crossed for the future.
