A 7 x 5 trailer with those mess fence panels as hungry boards, Margaret mentioned they are taking another load tomorrow, then returning to load up for a second trip..... but they were both on the their 3rd glass of honey bourbon from the last trip at least the low metal prices are helping save her liver

Took the carpet square out and gave it a good workout with detergent and a stiff broom, now wait for it to dry and replace in M/H.

moved the air throttle actuator and added a pnuematic cylinder for cold starts. The actuator was positioned in a place only accessable if the water tanks were removed. Big job.
The old girl needs a bit of throttle to fire on these cold mornings but without air up its a no go, you have to go back and do it manually with all the belts zinging about. So I put in this little spring loaded cylinder, once air is up it automatically retracts out of the way. Works a treat, just like a modern choke

Very clever, is it your design? So without air the spring holds the throttle open a little but the air over comes the spring tension as it builds up dropping the idle back to normal.... is that correct? How much air pressure for it drop back to idle and is that adjustable?

Guilty, all mine Correct and clever yourself figuring it out!
The distances are all adjustable with a washer or two, the pressure slowly eases the throttle after about 60psi. A different spring would change the time but its pretty quick to pump with the engine on a higher idle.
I am doing the same system for a fridge lock, will post some pic's in a couple of days
Not just a pretty face are you Does the 60psi give you throttle control? I guess the fridge lock works the other way, locks the fridge as the air builds up and a dump set up to release the lock. We use one of those kiddies door strap things that stretch over the holder at each end.... and of course the audible warning device that the strap was not in place when the fridge contents ends up in the stairwell at the first round about

Did you machine up the cyl and fittings yourself? Certainly thinking outside the square, I probably would have used a solenoid activated by a dash switch... but that idea right up there with the best in its unique way around the problem that auto resets when needed
