Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

M.D.
Hi all, well I went to the eye specialist at Port Macquarie. After testing it seems I have Macular Degeneration in the right eye, there are two types.
1. Dry
2. Wet.
Dry is not treatable but wet is it is not curable but treatable [keep it under control].
Treatment consists of one injection every FOUR weeks [in the eye]. I still have to find out if this can be done at any eye specialist or only at Port Macquarie.
Therefor my touring is restricted to four weeks at a time.
I have to have an angiogram to prove to Canberra, that I have it, so I can get the rebate on the injection.
I will know more next Wednesday.

Cheers

All the best Peter. Hope it goes OK.
I picked up one of those sheets of testing paper & it looks like I might have a bit too.

Bob
Yes, Graham greeted us as we walked in with "Do you want to camp the night?". We had a delicious lamb shank with freshly cooked veggies and gravy for lunch for $14. We had quite a long chat with Graham - nice chap.

Another rather fresh start to the day, 6*C at 5:30 this morning, had a bit of a sleep in as the long hrs are taking their toll. Sun is up now, the fog blanket over Mannum central looks like a pea souper, clear as a bell in Upper Mannum ;) I wonder how cold it got last night at the marina
