Just arrived at Brett's Camping to get all Solar rewired. He checked it out last week because Bruce reckoned all not working as good as it should. Brett was amazed at how it has been wired & with what it was done. we have had work done here before on 12 volt stuff & very happy with him. Noticed in one of the Wanderers he had a mention.

Good morning all, a late start after being attacked by a bottle of Honey Bourbon last night. Not too bad here this morning but still threatening rain. The family with the caravan here in the workshop returned last night and were able to find the runaway cat, so all is well with the world there.
Kay, the sub standard solar wiring and 12v wiring in general is a common problem through all manufacturers, they simply do not understand the requirements for solar and extra low voltage regarding cable sizes. Every job I've done required solar rewiring as a minimum, as the vans age the under size wiring has run hot for so long the resistance increases till the voltage drop causes serious problems.

Good to hear everything worked out as planned Bagmaker.
Now take it VERY easy for the prescribed length of time.
One of my friends thought he was OK to do a little lifting but reverted to the old model in seconds.

Don't even both sending your resume for the workshop supervisors job Dottie, I thought working the rail was bad enough Van owner family have returned to Aunty ?? place till Saturday complete with cat, Tom, Carmel and Brian are still here but they are great company and poor Brian has been working like a flogged redheaded stepchild

Yes I am up & ready to leave friend's yard at Deception Bay & up to Caboolture to get new awning then to Lawnton Showgrounds for a week then sot sons at Sippy Downs for a few days to see grandies then Bundaberg for a couple of weeks for a friend to help install the diesel heather & then heading north.
