Where am I now???
Well still at Wagin WA, however in around 5 hours from now, around 1130 hours I will be heading north.
Off to Turner River just south of Port Hedalnd to collect my humongous trailer.
Maiden voyage with my trusty pup Max.
Not sure which way to go as yet, Coast Road or Inland, guess it's more about cost of fuel.
Or just may toss a coin.
Cheers
Kappy

Re: Where am I now?
Got back home on Saturday.
Only gone for about 9 days, more about seeing how the rig ran to iron out any gremlins and to pick up my trailer from Hedland.
The bus ran well all the way Hedland with economy figures of nearly 4.75k"s to the litre.
On arrival at my mates place, gave the trailer a once over checking lights tyres etc. Left Hedland last Thursday, and could feel the trailer was there, as it's about 1900kg tare ,about 7.5 metres long , 2.5 wide. However still managed fuel economy of around 4.4 k''s, I am impressed.
However pushing to get home and as I was about to leave Beverly noticed sparks from right side of trailer, oh shit.
On closer examination I discovered I had lost both right side wheels.
So now trailer is secured in Beverly awaiting 2 new braked hubs to arrive from Qld.
I guess part of journey and a valuable lesson.

And what did Max think to the "adventure"?

He loved it on the way up I kept him on the leash, however after seeing him behave at my mate place I let him roam a little when we stopped.Dot wrote:And what did Max think to the "adventure"?
He didn't roam too far and responded well to my call backs.

Maybe the reason you lost the wheels. It pays to have shocks on trailers.Kappy wrote: No George no shocks/ dampers.

Re: Where am I now?
Where abouts is Beverly? I can't find it in Google Maps.
Sure someone never took them? (at a r'house or somewhere)

opps wrong spelling.

The trailer is stored at a secure yard now.
The wheels came off whilst driving through Beverley.
