Main Power

Post by Dot »

Is it ok to turn the power (to the house) completely off at the switch board whilst away or do we have to leave it on for the solar panels to send power back to the grid?

I turn my all my circuit switches off except for one power point so the over the road can water Carols plants , that doesn't stop my solar going to the electricity people . I don't touch the switch's that come from the solar .
But I don't know how your set up is ?

I would leave it on. Just make sure every power point in the house is off
