Bruce, Go for the Kenwood at the bottom of the stack. I had one the same a while back. It used to go alright.
And I'll say it again, there are only about 5 AM radio stations in Oz that are worth listening to. The rest are rubbish, just like most of the FM sites.
Cheers

It does mention both AM & FM in the manual but no problems.
There are two slots in the helm so rather than cover one up I'll keep the old Kenwood CD player that has both AM & FM and just use that on AM.
The new one will be for FM and music via USB stick or SD card.

Sounds like a win / win Bruce. Does the manual have a link to a website?

Well all good except I need to swap the antenna over depending on which Band I wish to listen to!!
Will a splitter work OK? Then I can have both on at the same time!!!

Probably not. Go for an amplified splitter but separate aerials will be better.

Bruce,
Would it not be difficult listening to both at the same time ??
