Just loving our own private gravel pit, no noise to speak of just the occasional rumble of a truck passing :D Before we left our last spot at the truck stop we were amazed to watch a "truck driver" trying to back the B dub he was driving. I think even I might have done better. The space was huge, all he had to do was back straight but we gave up watching after about the 20th forward & backward movements, very poor attempt compared to the other truck drivers we watched do the same thing (drop the back trailer off) Deniliquin Transport with 2 trailers of Sun white rice need to test their drivers a bit more. Even a couple of other truckies watching on were shaking their heads  Been watching a lovely little blue wren and his mate flitting in the tree next to us then along comes Mr & Mrs Crow and pigs out on the crumbs we put out.

Stopped in the Mundu rest area aprox 20ks east of Goondiwindi for tonight, too HOT to travel 32 in bus, all windows and doors open but I just might decide to turn the big red genny on for a run.. George is a tic not chick magnet, found another small tic had attached itself to his arm so same routine as the last one, sprayed with pyrethrin fly spray x 2 then waited a few mins for it to die then got it with the pointy tweezers and eased the thing out  I have no idea why he insists on sunbathing in the all together in the bush     Wait till he gets one where one should not go   Heaps of prickly pear up this way. (between Inglewood & Goondi) dam hot!!!!

Metho soaked cotton bud, hold the tick with it and it will let go and back out into the cotton bud, then do what you like with it, I usually set the cotton bud on fire to make sure the bugger is dead.

Just don't go home Dot, then you have no worries about which roads are flooded or not. Wait a while until the water subsides. As we know, that can take months, so settle down dearie and enjoy the rest. xxx

Too late to race home now Dot.......... the parcel has already been 'lost' again!!
Chris left Bathurst Sun Night & is back in Adelaide. (last night)
Not sure which way he went though.
Wonder if the road is open between Gilgandra, Warren, Nevertire, Nyngan, Cobar, Broken Hill etc?
Does flood a lot around Warren so you better check it out first.
