Post by pet-els »

Arrived and camped [club motel] at Balranald, after a two hour lunch at Oyoun with Alex and Joy.
Enjoyed last night with all.

Hi Jon,
Replacement is at Caves Beach [Newcastle] and undergoing some changes for me. Then when the body is built on the Iveco I'm on the road again. Will be in Bowral by the 19th December.
The Travelhome is not a new one but younger than my old one. Very similar in inside design.

Big drive today, left Balranald and now at Goulburn. Caves Beach tomorrow.

Arrived Caves Beach, checked out my "new" 5'er al OK. Set up in small flat on premises, will do till 5'er ready and tray is made for the Iveco. When I got here "Gunther" CMCA member and owner of 29' Travelhome [met him at Narrabri] was here and he has a new Iveco too, with an aluminium tray on the back, his has a longer wheelbase than mine. He has to get a towing ball fitted same as me to the tray/chassis.
Newcastle George rang and he may come down and check it out.

So Gunther has a long one than you Peter, seems there is no age limit to measuring up thing eh  Glad to hear you arrived safe, hopefully with that specially designed equipment container system and flash mudguards, do you have a photo to share with others that may want to copy the design and install idea?

Good one Peter, maybe you could do some fruit carting with your fancy mudguards :)

Visit from Newcastle George today, after showing the new 5'er and lunch at the Caves Beach Hotel he helped me unload some of my gear and put it in the 5'er. That is, till the temperature got the better of me.

Good stuff Peter! A little bit every day & it'll all be done in no time!
What are you going to do with those 'moving' boxes? Firewood for George?
