Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We are covered in fog and misty rain at the moment, but expecting 24deg today, which is close to a heat wave for Tas. Can just see my truck which is about 15mt away from the house.

0625 in Rutherglen.
After an early night and a good dose of pain-killers, I was up at 0545.
Ceiling fan on all night and still 21deg bedside.
Sun has been up a while, so I guess I'll get out of the sack & surprise SWMBO with breakfast in bed! :D

I seem to recall that someone on the forum asked about editing quotes recently - that's how. And I haven't changed a single word that you wrote, Ray. Would I get a job as a sub editor?

Well done and did you see Ray didn't dispute a word of it, can't harm the reputation by remaining silent

The function of a sub-editor is to edit the journalist's copy to fit the space (or time) allocated without changing the sense of the copy as written. ( :? Sad to say it's a dying art... or maybe even dead at some TV stations!)
On that score, Steve, you get an 'F'. :o
Sorry. ;)
